Second Image school fundraising
If you are looking to collect funds for your school, sign up for Second Image’s school fundraising programme.
Second Image will to donate to participating schools the GST content of sales made through this site to buyers who nominate a particular school as a beneficiary of the scheme.
Customers get access to a wide range of competitively priced ink and toner cartridges for their printers, copiers and fax machines and, by purchasing the items they require, help the school of their choice.
Schools need to opt in to this method of fundraising by, firstly, registering as a beneficiary by filling out the form at the bottom of this page and, secondly, by promoting the scheme to their wider school community.
Second Image will provide schools with posters for Notice Boards and background material for newsletters and other communications.
Online customers of Second Image will go through the normal purchasing and checkout system except that, at the final stage, they will be asked if they wish to assist a school. If they accept, they will see a drop down list of participating schools. The buyer will then select one to receive 12.5% of the value of that purchase (excluding freight costs).
There are a number of advantages to schools involved in this scheme:
- There is no administration and/or financial reconciliations required of the school.
- Second Image will provide a detailed Audit Trail, which will show sales made, and which will reconcile the payments made to schools with the sales.
- The only work involved is regular communication about the scheme to the wider school community.
It is extremly important that the schools involved undertake regular communication about the scheme. Failure to do so could result in few sales and very little funds raised.
The 12.5% donation will only be available on compatible ink and toner cartridges and compatible fax refills sold by Second Image. There will be no donation deducted for Original Branded Cartridges. The 12.5% donation is not available on ink cartridge bundles or other special offers.
