Environmental Guarantee

To help achieve the goal of zero waste, and in the interests of the environment and sustainable business practices, Second Image Printers & Copiers guarantees :-

1. That 99% or more of the waste generated by Second Image Printers & Copiers being in business is reused or recycled. None of the following waste is sent to a landfill; paper, cardboard, glass and plastic bottles and containers, scrap metal and polystyrene. Plastic packaging material is reused where possible.

2. That Second Image customers are actively encouraged to return empty ink and toner cartridges for reuse and recycling.

3. That all empty ink and toner cartridges received by Second Image Printers and Copiers are sent to cartridge remanufacturers for reuse or recycling.

4. That, at the end of its life, Second Image will take back for disposal, through reuse or recycling, any product sold by the Company.

5. That all printers to be disposed of are recycled.

6. That the paper supplied by Second Image is produced from renewable plantations planted for the purpose and from Elementary Chlorine Free (ECF) pulp.

7. That Second Image actively participates in industry initiatives to reduce waste and to promote the use of reused and recycled products.

8. That Second Image's premises are open for inspection, during normal office hours, by any person interested in verifying this guarantee.
